PRIVACY INFORMATION

What Patchsignal uses today.

This page summarizes data visible in Patchsignal’s current account, ZIP, support, billing, and email flows. It is not a complete privacy policy.

Account, sign-in, and ZIP information

An account stores your name, email address, and whether the email has been verified. Password-based sign-in uses account credentials, and sign-in sessions may include an IP address and information about the browser or device you use. The account system uses your email for verification and password-reset messages.

If you save a ZIP preference, Patchsignal stores one U.S. ZIP code with your account, along with when it was created or updated. The planned briefing and alert flows use that preference to select location-specific material. No ZIP-to-service-area or power-grid mapping is currently verified, and paid access remains locked.

Support requests

The help form asks for a contact email, the kind of issue, and a written description. If you are signed in, the request is linked to your account and can appear in your request history. Patchsignal stores the request, its reference, and its status history for review. A notification containing the request details is sent to the configured support inbox through Polsia's email service so it can be reviewed. Do not send full card or bank details in a support message.

Billing information

Checkout is handled by Stripe's hosted checkout through Polsia's billing service. The Patchsignal app records the account and offer references, checkout session reference, price, currency, monthly billing period, verification status and time, and purchase or access email status. Its checkout record does not contain a card number.

A checkout return does not confirm payment or library access. At present, Patchsignal cannot match a confirmed payment to both the verified buyer and this offer; see how access is checked.

Email and delivery information

Account verification and password-reset messages use your account email through Polsia's email service. The help form collects an email so Patchsignal can contact you, and its notification path sends the request details to the configured support inbox. The planned briefing and alert flows use the saved ZIP and account email and record delivery status. Those briefings and alerts are not currently operating, and successful delivery is not promised.

Details that have not been published

Patchsignal has not published a complete privacy policy or complete subscriber terms. Retention periods, a deletion-request process, data-location details, and full details about data sharing and service providers are also unavailable. Other legal terms about how records are handled have not been published. This page does not fill in those missing terms. For a question about your information, use the help form or email patchsignal-b3d8bk@polsia.app.
